At Garforth Kids Club, we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Our mission is to support working parents by offering a reliable wraparound service whilst providing before and after school childcare.
We were established in 1997 by two local families. Over the years, and as a result of much parental demand we have become a very popular small chain of Out of School Groups which provides childcare and a wide variety of activities for 3-11 year olds. Children are supervised by professional and experienced staff, in cheerful and secure locations. They are safely escorted to and from their classrooms by club staff, with all of our settings actually being based either on or next to school grounds for parents extra peace of mind. We have established very close partnerships with our local schools who let us collect our children internally within the schools.
All settings work within the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage (the same as schools) in order that all children receive seamless care and education. All clubs are Ofsted registered and are regularly inspected, not only to ensure that we meet all of the required guidelines but also to enable parents to claim tax credits and childcare vouchers. Our clubs are also fully insured.
We are situated in our own building on the grounds of Garforth Green Lane Primary School. The school is on Ribblesdale Avenue, just off Fairburn Drive/Green Lane - Garforth.

Garforth Kids’ Club Ltd is an independent company founded by 2 local families including Yvonne Huntley, Christine Roberts and Ben Roberts.
Yvonne is a qualified ex-teacher, Christine is Level 3 Qualified in Playwork and Ben is NVQ level 3 qualified in Childcare and also has a Business Management Degree. All of our management team have extensive experience in Childcare and Education.
Yvonne and Christine have also previously worked as "Quality Advisors" for Leeds City Council in order to help other settings achieve the high quality of care which is provided in our settings.
At Garforth Kids Club we believe that early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning and well being.
We aim to provide our children with a safe, intellectually stimulating and fun environment where they will enjoy learning through play to develop their physical, social and emotional skills.
For busy parents, Garforth Kids Club offers reliable childcare to help you get through your day stress-free. Our team ensures that your child is well cared for and ready for a productive day at school. We provide a nutritious breakfast and after school snack and time for socialising, making days easier for everyone.
All of our settings are based on or just next to school grounds, for parents peace of mind. Our staff drop off and collect children directly to and from their classrooms and none of our sites involve children having to cross any roads.
The environment at Garforth Kids Club is designed to be engaging and stimulating. We believe that a happy child is a learning child and we create spaces that reflect this.
Our premises are designed to provide a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for children of all ages. We have age-appropriate toys, books, and equipment, as well as outdoor play areas.
Our dedicated and caring team are passionate about children and have the experience and qualifications required to provide high-quality care. We maintain excellent staff-to-child ratios to ensure individual attention and support as and when required.
The staff have all been DBS (Police) checked and a Paediatric First Aider is always close at hand. Children are escorted to and from their class by a member of our team.
All of our settings operate a Key person system whereby children are allocated a staff member who will support every child's needs, and respond to parents at the end of each day.
We believe a good diet is essential for happy, well developed, healthy children. We endeavour to provide good wholesome food with low salt, sugar, flavours or preservatives.
We provide nutritious, delicious, wholesome breakfasts and light afternoon snacks with a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables daily. You can be rest assured that your child is having part of their '5 a day' here!
Our snacks all comply with the Government Food Standards and our staff are Food Hygiene and Food Allergy trained.
Please inform our team of any food allergies your child may have before starting our setting or as soon as any new allergy is discovered.
We offer a wide variety of activities to meet your child's needs, always with an emphasis on children having fun.

Because we want children to enjoy their break from the structured way of school life, they are encouraged to take part in the planned activities, but are never forced to do so.
